Stem cells Persuasive speech Outline
Step 1: Identify your piece of legislation for your topic. When you selected your topic for the Informative you should have already consider laws relating to your topic at the local, state and Federal level — chose the one you will use to persuade your audience to vote to pass or not to pass?
Step 2: Create your Annotated Bibliography using 5 credible sources. Create a document with sources in APA style and explain what you will use from the source and why (these can be words that you will literally use in your speech.)
Step 3: Audience Analysis
Formal (use the same one from your Informative)
Secondary (Answer the 3 questions — you are now persuading people about to vote for or against this legislation — explain the WIIFM for them).
Formal (Create 2-3 questions you can use in your speech) Be prepared to share with your peers in class.
Step 4: Create Your Skeleton Outline. Are you FOR or AGAINST legislation?
