Games and Other Fiction as an Art Form
Looking for a paper on how video games can be used as a good way to tell narrative story-telling, specifically character drama.
Good examples that I’d prefer to be used are the games Firewatch from Campo Santo, and SOMA by Frictional Games.
They both involve lots of character moments, SOMA being focused on what it means to be human, while Firewatch is more focused on isolation and escapism.
