Assessment
Task: Drawing on your experiences during the simulation, you will produce a 1500-word critical essay on to the approach to decision making operating in the team and your contribution to it.
Three main levels of reflection should cover the following area:
1. Diagnosis of team strategic decision-making effectiveness during the simulation using an appropriate theoretical framework from the module. Within this you should consider the impact of team dynamics, leadership and fit with the context of the simulation.
Use ONE Critical decision to illustrate the elements of your analysis – this should contain only a very brief description of the selected critical decision and the choice made with the focus being on the decision process. Draw on the material from the Study Unit on strategic decision-making as an analysis tool.
3. On the basis of your analysis you should reflect on how your personal preferences fitted this approach and may have impacted on the group work process, and how you might adopt a different approach in the future (either to better perform in a similar situation or need to flex to be effective In a different context).
