A. DEVELOP A FAMILY PLAN OF CARE BASED ON YOUR ASSESSMENT (30 Points)
Analyze your assessment data and Apply the Neuman Theoretical Framework to the Family.
Utilizing the Neuman Theoretical Framework apply the concepts of the Neuman Model as they relate to the family by:
Identifying and evaluating potential or actual stressors that pose a threat to the stability of the family members or family system.
Assessing the actual and potential strengths of the overall family members or family system at present time (responses to stressors).
Identifying and evaluating actual and potential resources within and outside the family for optimal state of wellness.
B. IDENTIFY TWO FAMILY NURSING DIAGNOSES THAT APPLY
Identify two Problems and using the NANDA format DEVELOP two family nursing diagnosis. (Cite and reference). (20 Points)
C. FAMILY NURSING INTERVENTIONS:
Based on the identified problems and nursing diagnosis, utilize the concepts of the Neuman Model and describe your family interventions with rationale and outcomes. (Use citations and references). (20 Points)
D. FAMILY NURSING – EVALUATION OF STRATEGIES RELATED TO PREVENTION
In the evaluation phase of the nursing process interventions are evaluated to determine whether balance was restored, and a stable state maintained. Interventions encompass three dimensions: Primary Prevention, Secondary Prevention, Tertiary Prevention.
Based on your interventions with the family members or family system, identify a preventative strategy for each of the three dimensions. (Cite and reference). (20 Points)
