End of the Semester Project – Concert Report
As part of your syllabus, a major part of your final grade consists of a “concert report”. List here several YouTube concerts that you may choose from. You can choose any one of them.
Write a 400-500 word response and submit it as a paper.
Include: a biography of the composer of the piece, information about the composition itself, and at least 1-2 paragraphs describing the concert using all of the terms that you have learned this semester.
You may talk about its form (sonata form, rondo, theme and variations, etc.), its time period (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, etc.), for what instruments is it written.
You should also comment on the performance itself, how do the musicians perform the music.
