Discussion Question – Taking a Stance on OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
For this discussion, you will use one of the following arguments against OER and take a stance. Your discussion should be a persuasive post.
Before you begin, select one of these arguments:
Publishing is key to faculty tenure and promotion. OER does not have the same scholarly status as traditional publishing.
Intellectual capital is worth something. You should be paid for your creations.
Licensing of OER is not necessary as people will just take and use anything that is available online.
