Assignments/Tests:
All assignments are due by the date and time that is in this syllabus, with no exceptions. Each week’s assignment will be made available on the Monday of each week in the tentative schedule and will close out the following Sunday at 11:59 PM. The final exam will cover all chapters discussed in the class.
Written Report– The student will be required to write a report based upon an aircraft accident that made a significant impact on the field of Aviation Safety.
This report will be a minimum of 5 full pages. (not including title, abstract, reference page or pictures/graphs).
The last two pages will describe the safety issue the accident identified, what is being done to rectify it and is the solution working. The topic must be approved by the instructor.
NOTE: Formatting of the paper will be APA 7.0 format, doubled-spaced 12 pt. Times Roman. It will include references which shall be reflected by accurate citations followed by a complete reference in a Reference Page (min 3 different sources) WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A RELIABLE SOURCE. Credit will be given for depth of writing, innovative subject matter, and clarity of writing style.
