Liberal world order in crisis – Essay or Artifact analysis
Students will submit an essay of 2,500 words. In the essay students are asked to critically analyze a substantive issue of your choice related to the module’s themes.
Essays need to incorporate at least 8 scholarly sources, at least 4 of which need to draw from the module’s materials (includes recommended reading list).
Students can choose between producing 1) a standard research essay focusing on written scholarly sources and 2) an artifact analysis (feature film; documentary; cultural object; museum exhibit etc.).
The format of the artifact analysis follows the typical format of an academic essay. All students are encouraged to discuss their final essay with the module convenor at least three weeks ahead of the deadline.
