Carl Cohen’s “The Case for the Use of Animals in Biomedical Research”
Directions provided by my professor:
Each student is to present on the argument from one of the main texts that are discussed as journal assignments. The due date is different for each presentation (tba). The student should do a PowerPoint or Prezi, outlining the main points of the argument and adopting a stance for or against the position proposed. It imperative that the student displays an understanding of the main points of the article that is the focus of the presentation.
If adopting a critical stance, the student needs to provide a reasoned argument for his or her position, providing supporting evidence and argument. In some cases, it may be appropriate to show how the article chosen fits into the broader discussion of the issue area
