SUMMATIVE ASSIGNMENT – The Entrepreneur’s Environment
This assignment enables you to play a role as an adviser to policymakers. As an expert
in entrepreneurship, you have been asked to produce a report that helps foster
productive entrepreneurship within a particular entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The objective of the report is two-fold. First, to assess the selected ecosystem by
identifying the main problem(s) entrepreneurs are facing and key constraints at the
ecosystem level restricting productive entrepreneurship. Second, propose a strategy
to foster productive entrepreneurship in the region.
The report should be placed in context providing a brief description of the region’s ecosystem and surrounding economic, political, and social circumstances. You are expected to draw upon relevant theories, concepts, data sources, techniques and tools studied in the module, demonstrating a sound application of these learning aspects
