For the purposes of the final project, imagine you have been chosen as an external facilitator for a small healthcare organization. Your writing assignment for this module is the second step in Ebener and Smith’s strategic planning process map.
Follow the instructions below to complete the assignment.
Conduct an environmental assessment of the small healthcare organization you selected in module one. As the facilitator for this healthcare strategic planning process, you will do the following.
Draft a one- to two-page paper that addresses the nine questions from figure-4 of your textbook that have been provided below. Refer to the stakeholder map you created in the Module 2 reflection above to help you answer some of the questions.
What are your general impressions about this organization? Include comments and key points from your “Stakeholder Map” developed in your self-assessment.
What are the strengths of the organization? Include a SWOT analysis table similar to the one pictured below.
What are the weaknesses of the organization?
What are some improvements that can be made to the organization?
