You are the project manager of the team preparing for the school’s Annual Awards Ceremony, slated two months from now. You are aiming at having an audience of at least 500 for the event including students, parents and other relevant stakeholders. At one of your meetings, Susan, your secretary expresses concern over whether you are going to get this audience you desire.
She points out that if the people do not turn out as expected, the programme will flop. Mitch, another team member, agrees and makes reference to the recent conference that recorded an attendance of 20 instead of the expected 200. Now, everyone on the team is concerned about whether the turnout for your event will be as planned.
