Social Network Privacy Policy Exercise
With the popularity of social networks comes a cost in terms of privacy. People are able to glean a great deal of information about us from our use of social networks. Sometimes the government also wants to find out information about you and your social networking habits. Most social networks have created privacy policies—though it’s probably safe to assume that most users have not read them.
In this part of the assignment, you are to search online to find the privacy policies for three social networking companies (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and determine under what circumstances those companies will hand over your private information to an entity that requests it. Your write-up to this question should be two- to three- page, single-spaced.
