OWI Motion To Suppress
Prepare a power point or paper that first discusses at least 4 or 5 Motions to Suppress with details to support the motion that the defense attorney would file.
Then continue and discuss how the prosecutor will defend against those Motions. It should be at least 10 power points slides or 4 pages.
The Motion to Suppress indicates that the following was procedural or substantively a violation that should result in all the evidence being unable to be used in the trial:
initial police traffic stop
Officer Questioning
Field Sobriety tests–the tests themselves, the administration of the test, the interpretation of the tests
Blood Obtainment-obtainment of the warrant, administration of the warrant, medical person administering test, handling of the blood, chain of evidence, etc.
Results of the Blood test- handling of the blood, chain of evidence, medical person administering test,etc.
