Compare pharmaceutical against academic drug discovery and which model of drug discovery is most effective.
This assignment will allow you to develop your skills in the interpretation and analysis of clinical, ethical and / or scientific studies. You will find that there will be conflicting reports, evidence and arguments for each of the proposed topics and you are expected to produce a balanced report, which draws together and critically analyses the available evidence. Your report will make an analysis of the relevant studies with particular emphasis on study design, strengths and weaknesses.

Your task
Using a wide range of reliable sources, you will gather information on a given topic from which you will obtain results and information for your report;
Your report should be evidence-based and you should avoid the use of subjective opinions;
Take into account all the relevant information, including that which does not fit into your own interpretation. There is nearly always more than one view about an issue, the nature of a causal explanation, or the interpretation of data. Most topics for the reports are the subject of some controversy;
In all cases, you will find more than sufficient information on which to base your report, do not underestimate the time taken to write
