An Introduction to financial accounting fundamentals with an emphasis on the accounting cycle, along with financial reporting and interpretation of the basic financial statements.
Course Objectives After completing this course, students will be able to:
1. Identify and discuss steps in the accounting cycle.
2. Understand how to prepare the four basic financial statements.
3. Analyze transactions using the accounting equation and debits and credits.
4. Understand the concept of accrual accounting.
