Watershed Project
Name of your watershed: A watershed is the area of land that is drained by a rivet.You will pick a landmass and investigate one of its watersheds in great detail.
You will prepare a hand made detailed map (on 8 1/2 x 11 paper) of a watershed that you are assigned and its surrounding area that includes the following:
Include part of the landmass or continent in your map. For example, if you are doing the Mississippi River you would show ALL of the states that it runs through. Similarly with any other river in the world.
Key or legend on your map that identifies physical characteristics of your landmass (such as mountains, lakes, etc.) —
Compass rose ;River systems (include the major tributaries) make sure you include the names of the rivers and tributaries as well.
Major cities (include names on the map)
Topographical details (on map show mountains or hilly regions)
