You are required to write a 1500-word assignment (+/- 10%). For ease of reference, set out what is expected from you in this assignment:
Reflect on the challenges of working in a specific criminal justice related field (e.g. police / youth offending / probation etc.).
Draw on academic literature on ethics and professional practice in criminology .
In this section you need to identify any challenges of working within that specific field including any ethical challenges.
Reflect on your own competencies and how you are equipped to deal with those challenges. You can therefore use the first person.
In this section you can highlight both your strengths and the weaknesses of how you will manage these challenges. You can provide an example of an ethical dilemma and how you dealt with it / would deal with it and relate it to your own competencies.
