Construct a philosophical dialogue (just like Plato’s dialogues) involving 2 of the philosophers you’ve read and discussed this semester.

For the final paper, you are to construct a philosophical dialogue (just like Plato’s dialogues) involving 2 of the philosophers you’ve read and discussed this semester.

Choose one of the topics below (and suggested some of the relevant philosophers for that topic).

You may insert yourself into the dialogue as a third interlocutor who has their own views and wants to agree with or criticize the views of one or both of the others.

If you do present your own views, be sure to provide arguments for them, don’t just state them.

1. What is freedom? How free are we? What does our freedom consist in? (Epictetus, Kant, Sartre)

The maximum length is 1200 words.

You should choose only 2 philosophers to include in your dialogue. Even if I list 3 possible philosophers for a topic, don’t try to include all three select two of them
And don’t use direct quotes from the texts. Put everything in your own words as you give your philosopher-characters speeches.
