Using the theories and empirical evidence from psychological literature, analyse one of three case studies of your choice.
Focus particularly on what might have led to an eating disorder, what might have influenced the diagnosis/what might be considered for the diagnosis, how the body image distortion is presented in the case, what treatment options might have been considered / might be considered for the case.
The essay needs to evaluate the reported literature in the context of an eating disorder. The paper needs to cover: Diagnosis and clinical presentation (DMS criteria, Symptom, and sign based identification of most likely diagnosis, cover body image distortions, and analyse the body image distortion in this case), aetiology, treatment, prognosis.
