Business management interpretation
Select a reading from the Financial Times published since 1 July 2021. It can be from any section of the FT (online or paper edition); ( Article attached in the files ) –
Describe the FT reading as a summation:
What is the selected FT reading about? Who (individuals and/or organizations) are involved?
What business and management issues are raised? Why?
(For the next stage, interpretation, you can narrow the focus.) There may be related readings you can access in the FT (as this will support the next stage, interpretation).
Interpret the selected FT reading in the context of business and management.
Your interpretation will also be informed by additional and relevant readings (including at least one academic journal article). As interpretation goes beyond selection and description, additional reading is required.
This inlcudes at ‘least one academic journal articles’ (see Learning Resources for online databases). General management journals – available via Business Source Premier or ABI Inform Global. Harvard Business Review, California Management Review, Sloan Management Review, and McKinsey Quarterly (published by the eponymous management consultancy) are the most accessible. Rubric attached please use some sources pointed.
