Review the process of micturition and the normal characteristics of urine from the Urinary unit. Explain the specific process of reabsorption for each of the substances.

Instructions
A urinalysis is an important test performed to diagnose a health condition, monitor a health condition or for routine medical care. There are also other urine tests besides a urinalysis that also monitor or diagnose health conditions. In the urinary unit it was also discussed the process of urine formation and within these processes what substances are filtered, reabsorbed and secreted.

Notice that some of the substances are usually absent from the urine. Review the process of micturition and the normal characteristics of urine from the Urinary unit and then answer the following questions.

Pick two of the substances from the referenced table.
Explain the specific process of reabsorption for each of the substances.
Discuss why the substance is found or not found in the urine.
Pick one of the tests done on a urinalysis or other urine test and research it.
Describe the test, how it is done and what it is looking for.
