Purpose:
The purpose of this assignment is to, individually or as part of a Team, create a financial health flyer that will either inform or persuade financial literacy for a target group.
Tasks(s):
Create a financial literacy flyer that informs or persuades financial literacy for a target group. The flyer should synthesize concepts from at least two modules and may also include information from other sources. If other sources are used, citations for the sources used must be noted.
Initial post:
The Flyer will be shared with the class so make sure your submission is a final product, not a draft. Be creative! Your initial post should include the following information.
Team Name: If you are working as a team, create a team name for your group.
Team Members: If you are working as a team, list the students who actively participated on the creation of the flyer. Designate one student to post the flyer for the team.
Target group: Your financial literacy flyer should have a target audience in mind. The target audience could be college freshmen, graduating seniors, college females, adults in their 30s …. the target audience is unlimited. Your initial post should describe your target audience and why you selected that group.
Focus of the Flyer: In general, describe what information you hope the target group will remember. Is it saving for retirement, taking out a loan, role of risk in financial markets, how money scripts influence savings behavior, ect.
There are many options available. Be creative. Combine information from at least two modules. You may add new information you find; just be sure to include a citation for the new information.
