Development film analysis
Your goal is to watch and analyze a Film or TV show that includes teenagers as a major element within it. As you watch, try to identify aspects of development according to some of the famous psychologists that we have studied in class.
Then, after watching and analyzing the film, you will write a 2-3 page essay that includes your findings and analysis.
NOTE: A film analysis is not a review or summary of the plot, it should go deeper into analysis and reaction. It should discuss the issues raised by the film, address the film’s importance and purpose, state reactions to the content and quality of the film, and connect it to ideas and material presented in class. You should include the following (in any order you choose).
Describe the ways that the teenage character(s) develop over time throughout the movie/show.
Use at least three of the theories of development that we have learned about in class. Some examples are listed below
