The task is to write a 1600-word report (plus or minus 10% in the word count is acceptable). Your report should follow the structure below but this can be written in first person. Your report should be written in Word. It is advised that you apply the suggested word count for that area as closely as possible.

Section 1 In this section you will need to investigate the current employment trends in relation to the industry / sector you wish to work in. You will need to analyse the external factors, using an analysis model such as STEEPLE to guide you in relation to the external factors influencing your chosen career path. (your own future career goal is becoming an HR director for a big recuriment firm.) 300
Section 2 In this section you will need to investigate and identify two impacts of globalisation in relation to the the industry / sector you wish to work in. Consider the employment opportunities, impact upon local economies, skills development etc…

Section 3 In this section you need to investigate and identify two impacts of social innovation in relation to the the industry / sector you wish to work in. Consider employment opportunities, economic growth, impact for local communities etc… 300
Section 4 Identify and analyse your own future career goal. Use a range of sources (such as Prospects Planner, Skills Self-Assessment etc..). Contextualise this by creating a short term career goal statement, that is SMART.
Discuss your starting point (where are you now) and identify three personal actions to support you in achieving your career goal.
