The Changing Role of Finance and the Finance Professional
The aim of this assessment is to critically examine the changing role of finance and the finance professional. You are required to write 1600 words in response to the questions posed. Your report should be submitted with citations and references and a table of contents.
1) With specific reference to either the CIMA or ACCA Competencies Framework, and the Global Management Accounting Principles, explain the skills that a finance professional will be required to perform in carrying out their role within at least 4 areas of practice. (800 words).
2) Identify one latest trend in technology or data management and discuss how this has impacted (or will impact in the future), the role of the Finance function within the organisation (800 words).
