1) Unique title — keep it short and make it as intriguing as possible. Think of it as a teaser to draw in your reader.
2) 4-6 pages in length with detailed paragraphs, correct use of dialogue, and purposeful settings and characters.
3) Make it fantastical ( fantasy) yet make it seem real and create a way for readers to feel connected to the story.
4) Remember it must contain some of the elements of the typical fairy tale, but it must also be warped or modified into something new and original.
