Research what technology should look like in a learning environment for young children. Then design an optimal learning environment for young children that is rich in technology. Students will reference Chapter 13 “Technology for Instruction.”

Students will present their design via a presentation (PowerPoint, Prezi or equivalent) to include the following:

Describe the overall learning environment;

Discuss specific technology strategies for implementation in the early childhood classroom;

Describe assistive technology options.

Consider the needs of young children with special needs and accessibility considerations to ensure access to technology;

Are students able to use the technology outside of the school day? At home? during sports? or when participating in activities as a spectator?
