Demographic Profile Analysis
Instructions: Document demographic profile analysis for assigned census tract and Bexar County.
APA format: 12 pages (minimum); paragraphs double-spaced; correctly cite data and information sources in text and References section.
Display, compare, and interpret assigned census tract and Bexar County demographic data provided by the U.S. Census Bureau for 2010 and 2019.
For each data table, use the following guidelines to write 2-4 paragraphs that interpret and discuss the findings:
Analysis: State whether the data trends up, down, or stays about the same.
Evaluation:
State whether the trends are going in good, risky, or neutral direction and the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) implications.
Synthesis:
Use course text or another scholarly reference to state reasons why the trends may be occurring (mediating factors). Support statements with scholarly sources cited in text and References section.
Conclusion:
Identify relevant community health nursing interventions with consideration for four of the following: SDOH, Healthy People objectives, and the Minnesota Wheel of Public Health Interventions, ethical principle, Catholic Social Teaching principle.
