Colorism in media has gained more scrutiny throughout years with the advancement of technology in media. From social media, reality tv, film, radio, and marketing, etc. there has been protests to improve to increase representation.

For the final paper, specifically discuss and address how darker skinned Black women have been portrayed and/or neglected in media. During  investigation,  uncover hints of progression that will birth lasting success for future Black women of darker skin complexions without falling into the stereotypes created from past generations.
