OVERVIEW

You will create a Discipline Integration Outline to help organize your research in preparation for writing your research paper. The outline must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document. Along with the body of the draft, as detailed in the Outline Template below. Subsections of your paper must be listed appropriately following the example below. The outline must be 1–2 pages.

INSTRUCTIONS

The assignment, list this: The Discipline Integration: Outline Assignment should follow the Discipline Integration: Outline Template and include:

• No need to write out lengthy paragraphs for each section. Brief explanations are all that are needed (1–3 sentences) to describe your main ideas in order to demonstrate how the parts of the paper fit together.

• Indicate in the outline where all 15 of your sources from the Annotated Bibliography will be utilized. Use in-text citations in the correct formatting style.

• In the Bibliography section, include the full bibliographic citation of the 15 or more scholarly sources using the formatting style of your declared primary Area of Study.

If a new, major source is used that was not a part of the original Annotated Bibliography Assignment, indicate that it is a new source and provide a brief explanation and justification for including that source following the full citation at the end. Sources must be less than 10 years old.

Note that the Outline Template (and the research paper that will result) builds upon all previous work and assignments from this class. Therefore, you will be using material from your previous assignments in this class to fill in your outline and final paper.
