Honesty in the military is by many accounts a matter of controversy. The army officers mostly have to choose between loyalty to other officials of higher ranking or telling the truth. The truth, as they say, sets one free.
However, it is not an easy feat to get these officials to put the truth out there. The secret, on the other hand, has a way of coming out unexpectedly and in a lot of situations end up causing trouble for those who strived to keep them under the wraps.
