Immigration reform has a regularly debated legislative priority topic in America. Though many argue that immigrants represent a characteristic economic difficulty, they bring diffuse and less obvious advantages to average citizens though at the same time imposing more concrete expenses on a few.
The benefits on a dollar basis far outweigh the costs as this paper will attempt at discussing. Some of the frequently overlooked ways in which immigrants have positively contributed to making America what it is today will be highlighted.
