Looking back at the past decade, a lot of research has been undertaken to find out the relationship between the HR practices and the performance of firms. Despite such researcher denoting promising outcomes, there exist a number of obstacles.
This paper will try to establish the theoretical as well as empirical problems that researchers have been facing as they are in pursuit of establishing the effect of HR practices on the performance of the organizations.
The paper will end with a highlight of a number of recommendations that can be implemented for the purposes of future research in this area. This is in an attempt to accurately do an assessment such a relationship in a manner that is going to be of significance for not only the researchers, but also the future practitioners.
