Industrial Revolution
The industrial revolution took place between 1750 and 1914 in Europe starting with Britain. This industrial, as well as economic development brought about a number of changes both socially and economically .
Industrialization led to the increase not only in population but also the aspect of urbanization since; many of the people moved to urban areas to search for employment.
Some of the people become reach while others lived in very horrible conditions. Furthermore, a certain class of people dominated during this period such as ship owners, prosperous industrialists, along with merchants who accumulated an extensive amount of wealth. However, the working had to live in overcrowded environments with minimum comforts.
Children were not only ill treated but were also sent to work in factories. Women too were not left behind as they experienced the significant change in their life as they took over jobs in textile industries and domestic service. This forced them to leave the agricultural workforce and spend less time with their family.
