Wireless Cholesterol detection
Capnograph refers to non-invasive and painless analytical method used to measure partial pressure of carbon dioxide from human breath. T
he reason why it captures carbon dioxide is because carbon dioxide absorbs infrared light, generating relationship between pressure and absorption in respiration.
Using human breath analysis, it is possible to measure values of volatile organic compounds such as isoprene (a heat sensitive organic compound that exists naturally in human bodies), and cholesterol (associated with cardiovascular diseases). The mechanism in which capnograph measures these VOCs is easy to interpret results despite minimal use in clinics.
