For your second paper, you will write a compare and contrast essay on two comparable entities and provide an evaluation/preference.
Requirements
Content:
● Introduce the different entities being compared and contrasted
● Establish and explain the criteria for comparison/contrast
● Equally address each (all – if more than two) entity
● State and address a counter-argument to your evaluation
o i.e. Some may argue….; however, ….
● Provide an evaluation within the essay, choosing one over the other
● Provide at least two outside resources, cited within the text, and on the Works Cited Page
Format:
● 4-6 FULL pages
● Use Blocking or Point by Point method
● Standard Academic Writing (no personal pronouns)
● Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, 1” margins
● Proper parenthetical (in-text) citations
● MLA formatting!
