SMEs or small business enterprises are an integral part of any economy is it developing or developed. Most of these businesses represent about 99% of business in most world economies, and play a vital role in building networks between producers and the final consumers.
While some of the companies categorized as SMEs might be small-scale producers, most of them are either in processing or in distribution contracting from bigger companies and producers. As enterprise entities, most of these businesses have certain impacts on the community and the country they operate in different aspects.
Starting from their economic value, social significance, and environmental impacts, all these are consequences of these SMEs, which affect their immediate communities and countries at large (Berisha, and Shiroka Pula, 2015).
