The United States population is ethnically and racially diverse. A census conducted in 2015 December revealed that the total resident population is 322,267,564 making US the 3rd most populated world countries. 81% of US population resides in cities and suburbs as of 2014.
Since 1960’s, US has had to deal with immigration issues some which turnout to be illegal. The most predominant immigrants are from Hispanic and most recently from Syria due to the current socio-political unrest (Ortman and Colby)
