. These multiple factors that affect its occurrence include a mixture of genetic, lifestyle, and environmental factors. The use of medications alone has proven not to be 100% effective, leading to the incorporation of other methods and medications.
The unpredictable nature of Schizophrenia demands these complex care methods techniques, like the CBT, which can be very tasking for a psychiatric nurse. According to Nuño et al. (2019), approximately 21 million people have Schizophrenia worldwide. Also, Schizophrenia has a lifetime prevalence of 0.3-0.7%.
