An audit on the choice of treatment for the eradication of H.pylori.
Basically we were asked to perform a clinical audit on a specific guideline in the GP practice I was in. The guideline I chose is the following : patients diagnosed with H pylori should not be prescribed clarithromycin, metronidazole or quinolones, if these have been prescribed for any infection within the last year. Adding to that, I was also assessing the dosage given with the antibiotics.
