1. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the role of non-experimental and qualitative methodology within Psychology
2. Demonstrate a systematic knowledge of established techniques of research and enquiry underpinning non-experimental and qualitative methodologies
3. Demonstrate knowledge of issues/debates associated with non-experimental and qualitative research

4. Critically examine non-experimental and qualitative psychological literature
5. Formulate and justify an appropriate design, research question, and analytical approach suited to qualitative research
6. Formulate and justify research questions and/or hypothesis/es, and an appropriate plan of statistical analysis, for non-experimental quantitative research.
