1.2 Understands the principles of wound healing and discusses the physiological processes which take place

1.3 Detail the physiological effects of infusions, including blood and blood products

1.4 Discuss the consequences of failure to consider anatomical structures whilst retracting and manipulating tissue and organs for exposure of the surgical site

1.5 Discusses the major flora of different regions of the human body and the associated risks which they present in a different region of the body

1.6 Demonstrates high levels of knowledge surrounding the use of wound dressings including discussion of the physiological interactions which occur for surface and specialist dressings
