In Week 3 and 4, you have learnt what IoT is, what it can be applied to, characteristics and

features of IoT and the opportunities and challenges that it presents. There are a number of

IoT systems that can be used for different applications (e.g., smart farming and smart grid).

In this task you need to,

• Discuss two possible architectures of IoT systems that can use data analytics

(max. 200 – 250 words).

• Choose one of IoT applications (e.g. Smart Grid, Smart Cities) where data analytics can help: investigate and write the volume of data in a selected IoT application and how data analytics can provide benefits (200 – 250 words).

• Discuss the challenges in using data analytics in the above mentioned IoT application and possible remedies that we can use to overcome the challenges (100 – 150 words).
