The main research objectives are as follows:
1. Evaluate the role of transformational leadership in the digitalization of the UAE public sector.
2. Assess the impact of transformational leadership on employee’s technology self-efficacy, team knowledge sharing, and team learning.
3. Determine the relationship between employee’s technology self-efficacy, team knowledge sharing, and team learning, and Individual readiness for organizational digital change.
4. Identify transformational leadership determinants and employee readiness that can be adapted to facilitate organizational digital change.
5. Propose a model that will comprise of transformational leadership digital determinants, employee readiness strategies that can be adapted to facilitate organizational digital change. The model can be used by senior leaders to support employees as they transition to digitalization in the UAE public sector.
