Read the whole file with instructions but focus on Part 1 only. Come up with a title. Read the instructions carefully for Part 1. Do not go over the word limit, which is 250 words.
Read carefully the VERY IMPORTANT NOTES on the assignment instructions, which is the knowledge translation assignment file. The material should be aimed at non-scientists and be easily understood by someone with a High School level education.
Do not use resources on the hypothetic partner because it may not be accurate. This is why you will need to use the slides that I have uploaded from the class. When choosing a partner keep in mind that each organization is looking for:
1. Toronto District School Board: We need resources for our middle and high school students. We need resources for our educators.
2. Campus Health & Wellness: We need information and resources for our students. We need training resources for our campus health and wellness staff.
3. Arthritis Society of Canada: We need information for patients about THC and CBD. Our patients are mostly aged 50 plus.
4. Children’s Mental Health Ontario(CMHO): We need information for young people and parents about cannabis and mental health.
5. Cannabis Company Specializing in medical cannabis: We need resources for patients with various medical conditions. We need resources for doctors who when patients request medical cannabis for various medical conditions.
6. Cannabis Company specializing in edibles for non-medical market: We need resources for all ages who may want to use our edible.
So, pick one organization and these are the things to target. After that follow the instructions carefully.
Please DO NOT USE INFORMATION FROM THE WEBSITE OF THE CHOSEN PARTNER. For Part 1: On the *Aim section an example would be to explain different ways of taking cannabis to patients.
On the Objective section some examples would to be give an intro to cannabis, explain the effects of inhalation, explain the effects of ingestion, compare the pros and cons of different ways of taking cannabis. Use only the material uploaded. Also, no more than 250 words.
