Write a page to a page and a half EACH on how the therapeutic approach of each chapter relates to your own previous life experiences—or to what you have observed with friends, family members and acquaintances (keeping their identity anonymous). You can “think out loud” here—how might have the therapeutic strategy might been helpful to them or to you, or to others whom you know?
Or, why not so helpful? What questions does the therapeutic perspective suggest to you that you, or they, might at least ask, or think about, in addressing some of the life experiences and issues involved?
Do you think a particular strategy might be “good” or “not so good” for helping people with a particular challenge or difficulty? Your writing does not have to result in a definitive conclusion, but rather enable you to explore how the various therapeutic perspectives might, or might not, be useful to certain types of people and/or in certain “types” of circumstances.
