For instance:
Popeye’s produced a new chicken sandwich that was far more successful than even their own company expected. As a result, it depleted their supply chain rapidly and soon led to a stock out. When they replenished their supply chain and launched their second introduction they gave Chick-Fil-A a run for their money!
Starbuck’s has a wide variety of Bistro coffee flavors that are not the lowest cost product. They are able to differentiate themselves from the competition by offering so many flavors and made to order coffees.
