How substance use has changed during the pandemic.
Upload your Annotated Bibliography Final Draft before midnight on Wednesday, February 10. You should have a total of five entries for this final draft. Be sure to save your file with your last name and some abbreviation of the assignment, for example: LastName_AB-Final
Also, be sure you have done the following before turning in the final copy:
– Review the Annotated Bibliography Rubric and the handout “More Tips for Creating the Annotated Bibliography”
– Do not use authors’ first/middle initials for citations in the body of the paper. The first/middle initials are only used in the bibliographic entry on the references page, not within the paragraphed annotation, and full first/middle names are never used in APA format.
– Create a correctly formatted title page
– Alphabetize all of your source entries according to the author’s last name. Be sure not to change the order of the authors from the way they are listed on the original article.
– Make sure you hit all five points for each annotation: summary of the purpose, methods, findings, any limitations, and themes (how you will use it in your literature review, how it might help to answer your research question, and any connections you can make to other sources you found–without using first-person pronouns like “I, me, my, our, we”).
– Citations are correctly cited including the retrieval information (either a DOI or the journal’s homepage URL).
– The entire document is double spaced and 12-point Times New Roman font. Hanging indents are included for all citations and all annotated paragraphs should be indented and line up under the hanging indent just like the provided examples. See the rubric for more details and use it as a checklist before turning in your final draft.
