Read the two articles from two of the ‘founding fathers’ of the scientific study of animal welfare.
However, as you can see from the lecture material and the readings, Dm Fraser and Broom are not always in complete agreement when it comes to how re define animal welfare or what re emphasize when we study it.

You will compare this article with the approaches and definitions proposed by our lecturers and with your own definition of animal welfare.
